Reconciliation Specialist

Third party assistance program for independent pharmacies looking for a dependable Reconciliation Specialist. Fast growing company in Overland Park, KS is looking for a qualified candidate. Bookkeeping and/or retail pharmacy technician experience is preferred. Benefit package and good work environment.

Responsibilities Include

• Responsible for handling inquiries from retail pharmacies & providers related to the reconciliation of third party claims on behalf of retail pharmacies.

• Track daily electronic remittance from payers, compare against billed claims, and contact insurance companies in collection efforts.

• Work to research & resolve problems in a timely manner

• Document issues & resolutions in a common database & escalate issues as necessary

• Normal hours for position will be Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm

Requirements:

• Accounting / Bookkeeping experience preferred

• Retail pharmacy technician experience preferred

• Excellent oral & written communication skills

• Organizational skills; ability to work cross functionally to resolve client issues

• Strong focus on client assistance

• PC skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access)

• Learn quickly, solve problems & make decisions; demonstrated ability to handle challenging clients in a professional manner
